What is Oasis ?
Oasis is a drop-in center providing assistance to individuals who are either HIV positive or at risk of becoming HIV positive and living in Atlantic City.
Oasis services are designed to encourage the individual to comply with their specific treatment plan and to maintain a healthy life style through intensive interaction with our support staff and system of incentives.
Services are provided in a relaxed atmosphere and include:

- Peer Companions
- Clothing Closet
- Emergency Food
- Transportation
- Support Groups
- FREE HIV Testing
- Syringe Exchange
- Bilingual Services
- Community Outreach
Intensive Case Management Trained professional counsel and assess the needs of each client on a personalized basis. Weekly appointments for follow-up and reassessment are encouraged as well as compliance with treatment schedules through a system of incentives.
HIV Prevention / Outreach HIV testing, prevention education and prevention case management are provided to individuals who are either at risk of contracting HIV or are HIV positive in order to help reduce the spread of HIV.
HIV Counseling & Testing HIV testing is FREE and CONFIDENTIAL. Testing only takes 20 minutes. Testing is available Wednesday's from 9:00am - 11:00am and 1:00pm - 3:00pm.
Syringe Exchange (anonymous) In collaboration with the Atlantic City Health Department, the South Jersey AIDS Alliance has opened the first legal syringe exchange site in the State of New Jersey. Syringe exchange is available upstairs at Oasis, Bright Horizons, and is available during normal hours of operation. Exchanges are anonymous.
